 Web Keeper

Job Summary
The position of Webkeeper is a two year term. The Webkeeper consults with the Clerk of Ministry & Oversight Committee and reports to the M&O Committee. The Webkeeper is responsible for all aspects of creation and maintainence of the Bridge City Meeting Website.
Job Description
Specific Duties include:
  • To arrange for an internet provider to provide server space to host the web pages.
  • To renew in a timely fashion the registration of web domain name www.bridgecitymeeting.org for our use.
  • To design, write and publish web pages as needed
  • To maintain the web site and keep it current.
  • To be a contact person for committees and officers of Bridge City Meeting to receive information to be posted on the web.
  • To consult with the Oversight Committee Clerk when items of concern arise to either reach a decision or to refer the matter to the Committee as a whole.
  • To report to the Oversight committee on the progress, status, and concerns related to the web site.
  • To work with the Archivist & Directory Coordinator who may have special needs with regard to the use of the site.
  • Seek advice and volunteer work from those within the meeting who have the technical skills and knowledge to try to keep costs to a minimum.
