Job Summary
|
The Finance and Property committee shall consist of 3 members serving one year terms. It is hoped that in most cases Friends will be reappointed for 2-3 consecutive years. The committee shall consist of the treasurer, assistant treasurer and another Friend who shall serve as clerk of the committee.

Job Description
|
Specific Duties Include:
- Prepare and present the annual budget to the monthly meeting.
- Make recommendations to the monthly meeting regarding investments of meeting funds and implement the directions of the meeting regarding investments.
- At the direction of the monthly meeting bring recommendations for criteria for access and management of "special funds"
- Arrange for periodic audit of the meeting's financial books
- Communicate with members and attenders about the financial status of the meeting.
- Annually send out letters of acknowledgement of contribution to the meeting.
- Shall be responsible to work with our landlord regarding our use of their property.
- Shall arrange for and maintain appropriate levels of insurance (liability and renters) for the meeting.
- Keep an inventory of our "physical property" (chairs, bookcases, sign, etc) and take appropriate action to maintain the meeting property or acquire new items at the direction of the monthly meeting.
