Imam Mamadou Toure Time: 7:00pm Location: Multnomah Mtg Hse. [ map ] He will explore the guidance we can draw from the Gospels, the Torah, and the Koran to answer the question, "What is it that God demands of us in these troubled times?" Program will start at 7:00 PM with silent worship, followed by greetings from Ahmad Shahriar, president of Bilal Masjid Mosque, opening to Imam Toure's address. Time for questions and discussion will follow, with refreshments and conversation until about 9:00 PM. Imam Toure is the founder and president of the Institute of Islamic and Inter-faith Studies. He is an emerging national voice calling for a meaningful interfaith dialogue as an important prerequisite to world peace. Imam Toure travels extensively, both nationally and internationally, to speak on Islamic spirituality, inter-faith dialogue and world peace. He has been hosted by several churches and synagogues and has engaged in meaningful dialogue with well-know leaders from many faith traditions.
